The College offers special exposure to the students with industry professionals and their experiences along with special talk with respect to industry standards, institutional skills, inter professionals behavior. Through this programme the bridge between theoretical learning and practical exposure are connected. The Professionals includes Indian Administrative Services and law firm associates.
Kristu Jayanti College of Law Kristu Jayanti college of Law organized Vinimay –Leadership series on importance of the general on trade on 7th September 2017. Sri. S Seetharaman, Principal Partner and Country Head- India Lakshmikumaran and Shreedharan Attorneys was the guest of honour.
Mr. Seetharaman began his address by throwing light on the various aspects of international trade which so happens is the main area of his expertise. Taxation and subsidies, international trade policies and processes of setting them challenges, corrective measures etc. were discussed. He further continued his explanation regarding basic features and importance of the General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs (GATT) and the World Trade Organization (WHO). He emphasized on relating and understanding the self as the most important step towards solving a problem, especially for a lawyer.
The program successfully ended with interactive session between the guest and students.
