Following the directions issued by UGC and Karnataka State Law University are continuously monitoring the Prevention of Caste based Discrimination in Higher Educational Institutions including Law Colleges, The SC/ST Grievance Redressal Cell was constituted in the year 2017. This cell was created to probe into the SC/ST student grievances. College strives to maintain an environment where all communities can participate in academic and nonacademic activities without any sort of discrimination with respect to caste or creed.
This Cell ensures that there is no caste based discrimination and ensures equal opportunity in all academic and administrative spheres and is responsible for sensitizing the campus community about the importance of having diversity. The objective of the cell is to prevent any instance of caste discrimination against SC/ST students, redress any grievances and to protect their interest. Kristu Jayanti College of Law also ensures that no official/ faculty member indulges in any kind of discrimination against any community or category of students. Kristu Jayanti College of Law as a matter of policy prohibits caste based discrimination.
Any person [including Teaching & Non-teaching staff and Students] can lodge a complaint against caste based discrimination. The students can lodge their grievance on the link provided below to register their complaint about any instance of caste discrimination, along with that a complaint register is placed in the Principal’s Office which can also be used for the same purpose.
